EDWARD S. GLASER DPM
Dr. Edward S. Glaser is the founder and relaxation guide for Relax Release Relief. Academically he holds a doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and is the founder and CEO of Sole Supports, Inc. He was in private practice for 13 years before dedicating all of his energies to the development of his MASS Posture Theory and Orthotic Design. He has earned a substantial national and international reputation for re-visioning and re-engineering foot orthotics and the way practitioners can significantly correct poor biomechanics in the foot and lower extremity and ultimately the entire body.
He lives the core value he center’s his company around: “We Make People Better.” Relax Release Relief is his latest attempt to share what he has learned with those in need of all three. Relax, Release, Relief is a series of relaxation techniques that are designed to manually, mechanically, interrupt the positive feedback loop that comprises almost all chronic pain with the notable exceptions of Gout, Direct Nerve Compression, and Neuropathy.
BIOMECHANICS OF THE FOOT - MASS POSTURE THEORY
MASS Posture Theory is a unique look at managing foot biomechanics from an engineering perspective, an all axis model of foot biomechanics, based on the individuals’ idealized gait, published in the Foot and Ankle Foundation Online Journal
MASS POSTURE ORTHOTICS
Mass Posture Orthotics are calibrated plastic leaf springs in the shape of patient’s foot held in its most functional posture. This allows the application of an even corrective force at the beginning of the Range of Motion, before the pathologic motion occurs, preventing postural collapse. It necessitates the passage of weight through the foot in as close to an ideal gait cycle as possible while simultaneously evenly distributes plantar force.
